The House of Lords Select Committee on Risk Assessment and Risk Planning published Preparing for Extreme Risks: Building a Resilient Society in December 2021.

This document sets out the government’s response to the recommendations made in the report, and the work already underway to deliver improvements to the way risk is handled.
