Details

This document sets out the government’s response to the Climate Change Committee’s (CCC’s) report on progress in adapting to climate change and its recommendations on adaptation.

The government’s response sets out:

  • areas where significant progress has been made to adapt to climate risks over the last two years, by sector
  • detailed responses to each of the CCC’s 51 recommendations, by department
  • acceptance of the CCC’s central message that the government must take greater action to build resilience to the impacts of climate change

This response should be read alongside the Net Zero Strategy, which includes the government response to the CCC on reducing emissions.
