Details

The Greening Government Commitments (GGCs) are targets for reducing the environmental impact of government estates and operations over the lifetime of this Parliament.

The second annual report of progress against the GGCs in 2012 to 2013 is intended for stakeholders in both the public and private sectors and individual citizens, to demonstrate transparently that government departments in England and their arms’ length bodies are delivering more efficient estates and operations by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from buildings and travel, creating less waste, consuming less water, and procuring more sustainably.

The first annual report is also available.
