Details

This is the Parole Board’s Guidance on Allegations. The guidance has been redrafted, particularly to reflect the judgment in the case of Pearce [2023] UKSC 13 on appeal from [2022] EWCA Civ 4.

The guidance sets out the key principles Parole Board panels must follow when considering an allegation that has been made against a prisoner, and the allegation (in whole of in part), is disputed.
