In a letter to the Prime Minister sent in July 2017, the Council for Science and Technology (CST) explores how the government can encourage the growth and subsequent listing of domestic S&T companies, leading to the development of an ecosystem to sustain even more.

The recommendations in this letter propose measures that would provide mechanisms for patient (long term) capital and remove disincentives to investment, encourage expert analysis to increase investment confidence, and create a high-profile narrative for their success.

This advice was also submitted to Sir Damon Buffini for consideration by the Industry Panel for the Patient Capital Review.

See the Industry Panel report and the government response to the Patient Capital Review.
