The individuals, small business and agents customer survey supports HM Revenue and Customs’ (HMRC) customer-centric business strategy.

The annual survey covers a broad range of measures, focusing on the areas that analysis indicates are priorities for HMRC’s customers.

This research measures the experience of 3 main customer groups that interact with HMRC, including their perceptions of compliance and HMRC’s reputation.

These groups are:

  • individuals
  • small businesses
  • financial agents

This report presents the results from the annual survey for 2018 for each group.
