Details
Gender pay gap legislation introduced in April 2017 requires all employers of 250 or more employees to publish their gender pay gap each year. This report covers the year to 31 March 2019. The gender pay gap is the difference between the average earnings of men and women, expressed relative to men’s earnings.

Our report for 2020 previously used locally calculated data for Gender Pay Gap (GPG). We have undertaken a review of the GPG data for 2021 and clarified that the Annual Civil Service Employer Survey(ASCES) GPG data for Home Office for 2020 contained a full dataset. This has been added to the background section of this report.
