Details

The main estimates seek parliamentary authority for voted expenditure by government departments. The estimates memoranda are used to inform Parliament scrutiny of departments, mainly through select committee enquiries or Estimates Day Debates in the House.

This main estimate memorandum is made available here in lieu of its publication on the Home Affairs Select Committee website, in advance of the committee being re-established having ceased following the dissolution of Parliament on 30 May 2024.
