Details

The RPC seeks to engage with departments and regulators at the earliest point possible in the policy cycle, to assist and advise officials on the regulatory aspects of proposals.

This document sets out what departments can expect when interacting with the RPC. Specifically, it sets out the RPC’s ‘offer’ to departments to help: improve evidence and analysis; and to support their policy proposals in a way that is consistent with a robust independent scrutiny function.
