It is possible to appeal some decisions made by the regulator. Before completing the appeal form you should read the information contained in the appeals scheme.
In addition to the appeals scheme, the regulator has a separate complaints process. Under the complaints procedure those who are dissatisfied with the level of service we have provided can raise their concerns. This includes any complaints in relation to consumer regulation referrals.

We recently reviewed our Appeals Scheme, which gives guidance on how to appeal certain decisions of the regulator that have no statutory right of appeal. The new version of the Appeals Scheme takes account of recent changes made to the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 that come into force from 1 April 2024. The new Appeals Scheme replaces the previous version.
