HS2 Phase 2a property scheme maps: West Midlands to Crewe

On 18 January 2024, The Secretary of State for Transport laid a Written Ministerial Statement (WMS) revoking the Phase 2a Safeguarding Directions. Some limited safeguarding is retained at the boundary of 2a and Phase 1, to protect land required for a redesigned Handsacre Junction (where HS2 connects to the West Coast Main Line). This has required a new Direction to be laid alongside the WMS. All previous iterations of the associated Phase 2a safeguarding and Phase 2a property schemes plans have been withdrawn.

The property scheme you’re eligible for depends on the location of your property. These maps show where the boundaries lie for the various HS2 property schemes for Phase 2a.
