Details

The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programme’s primary aim is to reduce the incidence of cervical cancer in women. Over 2.3 million girls have received 3 doses of HPV vaccine in England since the start of the programme in September 2008.

This report reviews the success of the programme and the lessons that can be learned to strengthen it in future, as well as presenting UK summary data from 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2014.
