Details

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse interim report provides an overview of the work undertaken by the inquiry to date, sets out what the chair and panel consider to be the key emerging themes, and makes recommendations. The report was originally published on the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse website on 25 April 2018.

Annexed to the report are the IICSA’s reports on the child migration programme case study (originally published on 1 March 2018) and Cambridge House, Knowl View and Rochdale (originally published 12 April 2018).

The IICSA was established by the Home Secretary in 2015 to look at the extent to which institutions in England and Wales have discharged their duty to protect children from sexual abuse. It is chaired by Prof Alexis Jay.
