This page provides information about the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme (the Scheme), which will make compensation payments to the victims of the infected blood scandal.
The Scheme will be UK-wide, and delivered by a new independent arm’s length body, the Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA). The Scheme is subject to further validation with representatives of the infected blood community, prior to being established in regulations.
