Dear

Re: Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Request

Thank you for your email of 18 March 2022.

You made a request to the Insolvency Service asking the following:

“Please could you let us know:

  • if P&O Ferries submitted HR1 forms for the recently announced redundancies?

  • if these were received in line with the legally required timelines?

  • when the form was received?

  • how many possible redundancies were listed?

  • if recognised trade unions and reasons for redundancies were listed on the form

  • if the service was notified, what steps the service took in relation to these planned redundancies.”

The Insolvency Service does not hold the information; it has not received an HR1 form from P&O Ferries for the recently announced redundancies.

Further information can be found within the public domain as set out in the response by Peter Hebblethwaite, CEO of P&O Ferries, to enquiries made by Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng and Labour Markets Minister Paul Scully on the 18 March 2022.

Letter from P&O Ferries to Kwasi Kwarteng

Your request has been dealt with under FOIA.
