Thank you for your email of 27 May 2021 in which you requested the following from the Insolvency Service:

“Under the Freedom of Information Act, please confirm the total payments made to employees in the U.K. between 1st January 2021 and 31st March 2021 in respect of the following:

  • a redundancy payment
  • holiday pay
  • outstanding payments like unpaid wages, overtime and commission
  • money that would have earned working a notice period (‘statutory notice pay’)

by reference to the following types of insolvency across all sectors of the economy:

  • administration
  • liquidation
  • bankruptcy
  • receivership
  • company voluntary arrangement
  • individual voluntary arrangement
  • debt relief order”

Our acknowledgement of your request contained a small error in stating the deadline was 18 June, when it was in fact 25 June. Your request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
