This March 2015 interim report sets out the areas that the Insurance Fraud Taskforce will explore in more depth, and makes an initial recommendation. The report also asks interested parties to submit answers to the ‘questions for consideration’. The window for responding closed on 13 May 2015.
The Insurance Fraud Taskforce was set up in January 2015. Its aim is to investigate the causes of fraudulent behaviour and recommend solutions to reduce the level of insurance fraud in order to ultimately lower costs and protect the interests of honest consumers.
The Taskforce will produce a final report by the end of 2015.
