Details

This guidance is for licensed providers of NHS-funded services in England and NHS trusts. It should be read alongside Monitor’s ‘enforcement guidance’.

Monitor’s integrated care licence condition requires NHS providers to not act or behave in a way that would be reasonably regarded as against the interests of people who use healthcare services by being detrimental to enabling:

  • healthcare services being integrated with healthcare services provided by other providers
  • healthcare services being integrated with health-related services or social care services provided by other providers
  • co-operation with other providers of healthcare services

How can Monitor help?
