Details

The Integrated Communities Strategy green paper included a commitment to launch a new community-based English language programme in areas with large concentrations of people who speak little or no English.

The Integrated Communities English Language Programme provided English language learning to over 18,000 people in 2019 to 2020 helping them integrate into British society by building their confidence to engage outside their immediate community and mix with people from different backgrounds alongside improving proficiency in English.
