Letter from Chris Hughes, chair of the National DNA Database Ethics Group, to the Home Secretary supporting the recommendation for the UK to join the Prüm agreement.

The letter is in reponse to the government’s recommendation to join the agreement, which will allow the sharing of DNA, fingerprint and vehicle information to help identify criminals and protect the public.
