Developing a Knowledge Asset Management Strategy (KAMS) is a recommendation in the Rose Book and Managing Public Money.

This guidance is to help public sector organisations develop a KAMS and consider what is required to put this into practice to ensure effective KA management within an organisation.

The guidance outlines the three sections of a KAMS along with some core content for each section and gives examples of what to include and where to start.

For more guidance on management of Knowledge Assets in government see the Rose Book.

If you have queries about this guidance, please email the Knowledge Assets Team: GOTT@dsit.gov.uk.
