This study investigates how to improve rail links between London and the south coast, focusing on:

  • the Brighton Main Line (BML) corridor
  • upgrades to existing routes
  • the BML2 proposal
  • re-assessing proposals for reopening the rail link between Lewes and Uckfield

The government response to the study was published 2 March 2017.
