Details

Attached are completed projects from the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) and the London School of Economics (LSE). NIESR covered the impact of the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage on employment, hours and wages, and the LSE their effect on and automation and offshoring.

The two ongoing projects are from the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) and Institute for Employment Studies (IES) concern progression out of minimum wage jobs and employment and hours, respectively.

Details of all the research we have commissioned can also be found in an appendix to each of our reports. The research summary from the 2018 report is included above.
