Following the Home Secretary’s decision to allow the police in England and Wales to use Taser International’s TASER X2, this document outlines the medical implications of using the TASER X2 conductive energy device.

The medical statement has been written independently by the Scientific Advisory Committee on the Medical Implications of Less-Lethal Weapons.
