This is the government’s response to the Independent Report on Menopause and the Workplace, published in November 2021.

The Minister for Employment commissioned the report through the 50PLUS Roundtable co-chaired with the Business Champion for Older Workers, Andy Briggs.

This document provides a response to the recommendations set out in the independent report, which are aimed at bringing about comprehensive change around menopause transition support in key areas of government policy, employer practice, and wider societal and financial change.
