  1. Today, we've published an amended version of MGN 564 Marine Casualty and Marine Incident Reporting. This is to take account of the Intended Pleasure Vessel (IPV) Code, in that, if a marine casualty or incident occurs to a pleasure vessel that is operating commercially under the code, this is reportable to the MAIB. This is reflected by the addition of one sentence to the paragraph ‘What to Report’. The rest of the MGN remains unchanged.
