Minutes of the Trade Specialised Committee on Customs Cooperation and Rules of Origin: 7 October 2021

The Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) between the UK and EU established working-level Specialised Committees to monitor the implementation of the TCA. The Trade Specialised Committee on Customs Cooperation and Rules of Origin met for the first time on 7 October 2021.

The document contains the minutes from the first Trade Specialised Committee on Customs Cooperation and Rules of Origin. The Committee serves as a joint forum for the UK and EU to address matters covered by Chapter 2 (Rules of Origin) and Chapter 5 (Customs and Trade Facilitation) of the Trade in Goods Title (Title I of Heading One of Part Two), the Protocol on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters and the provisions on customs enforcement of intellectual property rights, fees and charges, customs valuation and repaired goods.
