Freedom of Information Act: Request for information on Groceries Code Adjudicator activities

Thank you for your email dated 25 May 2022 regarding misconduct in the workplace at the Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA). In your email you asked for the following information:

  1. How many of your staff have been accused of a) sexual misconduct, or b) other professional misconduct in the workplace since 1st January 2021?
  2. How many of your staff have been disciplined for a) sexual misconduct, or b) other professional misconduct in the workplace since 1st January 2021?

Duty to confirm or deny whether the GCA holds the information

Under section 1(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“FoIA”), anyone making a request for information to the GCA, as a public authority, is entitled to be informed in writing whether it holds that information, and if so, to be supplied with it.

I can confirm that no staff have been accused of, or disciplined for, sexual misconduct or other professional misconduct in the workplace since 1st January 2021. Accordingly, responses to your questions are as follows (numbered to match the numbering in the request above):
