A commissioned report exploring the feasibility of using railway overhead line equipment structures to mount:

  • small cells
  • wireless antennas

The feasibility study focused on the:

  • physical location and mounting of equipment
  • subsequent impact on design
  • installation and maintenance

It also gives the main requirements for a safe location, design, installation and maintenance of any equipment mounted.
