A technical report evaluating different methods of characterising nanoparticles which can be used to enforce the proposed EU legislation on the definition of a nanomaterial.

The study measured silica nanoparticles present in coffee creamer - a complex sample matrix.

The study was funded under the Advisory Function of the Government Chemist.
