Details

The objective of this study, which was completed in 2016, was to identify new and improved local cycle routes as well as set out the potential for a national cycleway associated with HS2.

The study was commissioned entirely separately from the HS2 rail project. All options were developed with national bodies to identify any interfaces with new infrastructure and to consider feasibility of delivery with local highway authorities.
