Details

In 2005 the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) was established as a non-departmental public body (NDPB) under the Energy Act (2004) to ensure that the UK’s nuclear legacy sites are decommissioned and cleaned up safely, securely, cost-effectively and in ways that protect people and the environment. The Energy Act requires the NDA to review its strategy at least every 5 years.

We consulted on our draft Strategy early in 2016 and this document is the final outcome of that consultation.
