Details
Monitor is committed to improving how it regulates and how it works with the healthcare sector.
As part of this commitment, Monitor has agreed with the Foundation Trust Network to undertake a short survey on the NHS provider licence, including the operation of commissioner requested services (CRS).
About the survey
The survey aims to identify any major issues or concerns that have arisen during the licence’s first full year of operation (from April 2013).
At this stage Monitor is not looking at the impact of the licence on the independent sector (as the licence was only launched for these providers on 1 April 2014).
Monitor would like to hear from NHS foundation trusts and other interested parties in the healthcare sector. Do you have any major concerns with the licence? Can you highlight any positive change for patients as a result of the licence? Please share your views.
To take part:
- Take the online survey here
- Complete this and send it to: [email protected]
The survey will be open until 31 August 2014.
What will happen to the results?
Monitor will communicate what it’s heard alongside any proposed next steps in Autumn 2014. Depending on the feedback, the next steps may involve more detailed research.
Workshops on the licence
Monitor is planning a series of workshops with the sector that will look at the licence. To find out more or to express an interest in attending, email [email protected]
