Details

On 18 April 2024, Ofqual issued City & Guilds with a notice requiring it to pay a fine of £200,000. Ofqual had previously given notice that it intended to impose a fine on City & Guilds, following a settlement agreement. The Notice of Intention was published on 22 March 2024.

Also on 18 April 2024, Ofqual issued City & Guilds with a notice requiring it to pay costs of £5,000. City & Guilds has agreed to pay these costs, which relate to the decision to impose the fine of £200,000.
