Following Dame Carol Black’s 2008 review of the health of Britain’s working age population, an occupational health advice lines service was piloted to provide small- and medium-sized enterprises in Great Britain with early and easy access to high quality, professional advice in response to individual employee health issues. We set up the pilot and commissioned the Institute for Employment Studies to evaluate it.
