Details

The post-implementation review (PIR) of Part 3 of the Energy Act 2013 (EA 2013) was commissioned in March 2021 by the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), as required by Section 118 of the EA 2013. The review concluded in March 2022, and the full report has been laid in Parliament.

In October 2024, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (previously BEIS) published a review of the progress made by the ONR against the recommendations in this PIR.
