Online Safety Bill: impact assessment

Details

The Online Safety Bill delivers the government’s manifesto commitment to make the UK the safest place in the world to be online while defending free expression.

This Bill gives effect to the policy approach outlined in the Full government response to the Online Harms White Paper consultation, and reflects many of the recommendations from pre-legislative scrutiny.
