Details

Supplementary Estimates are used to seek additional resources, capital and/or cash or to reallocate existing resources and capital to new activities.

Supplementary Estimates are normally presented in February each year. Prior to 2011-12, they were presented, as necessary, in June (Summer Supplementaries), November (Winter Supplementaries) and February (Spring Supplementaries).

New Estimates may also be presented, as necessary, during the Supplementary Estimates round - these are known as Out-of-Turn Supplementary Estimates.
