Using the PA7ENV label
When you want HM Courts and Tribunals Service to store your will or codicil, you must attach the PA7ENV label to the envelope containing your will.
Fill in the PA7ENV label in BLOCK CAPITALS, including the name and address of the person making the will (the testator) and the executor. It must also be signed by a witness.
Attach the label to the envelope containing the will, put that in another envelope, include a cheque or postal order for £22 made payable to ‘HM Courts and Tribunals Service’ and send it by recorded delivery to:

You can request labels to be sent to you by emailing [email protected] or by writing to the Newcastle District Probate Registry.
What happens next
Once you have sent in your will, it takes around 2 weeks for it to be lodged and after that you will be sent a lodgement certificate.
