Details
The parent, pupil and learner voice was set up to provide robust, rapid research on the experiences of parents, pupils and learners on topical education issues.
In December 2023, the Department for Education (DfE) recruited a panel of:
- parents or carers of primary school pupils in years 1 to 6
- parents or carers of special school pupils in years 1 to 11
- parents or carers of secondary school pupils in years 7 to 11
- secondary school pupils in years 7 to 11
The panel were asked questions submitted by policy teams across DfE.
More detail on methodology can be found in ‘Parent, pupil and learner voice technical report: 2023 to 2024 academic year’.
Parent, pupil and learner panel omnibus surveys for 2022 to 2023 are also available.
