The government welcomes ‘The Second Independent Review of the Personal Independence Payment Assessment’ by Paul Gray published on 30 March 2017. This is the second of 2 independent reviews required by the Welfare Reform Act 2012. Paul Gray is also chair of the Social Security Advisory Committee.

This publication sets out the activity the Department for Work and Pensions is taking in response to Paul Gray’s recommendations.
