This Policy Framework sets out the arrangements for imposing a licence condition requiring certain people convicted of sexual offences and terrorist and terrorist connected offences sentenced to a term of imprisonment of 12 months or more to undergo polygraph examinations. It details the mandatory instructions for identifying eligible individuals convicted of a sexual, terrorist or terrorist connected offence who must be made subject to the polygraph examination condition, and the processes to be followed for polygraph examinations to take place.
