Details

A House of Lords Select Committee carried out post-legislative scrutiny of the Licensing Act 2003 and published a report in 2017.

Earlier this year, a House of Lords Liaison Committee published a follow-up report commenting on progress and setting out a further 25 recommendations for the government to consider.

The government is grateful to the House of Lords Liaison Committee for its considered and detailed report following up the Select Committee’s post-legislative scrutiny report on the Licensing Act 2003. The recommendations have been carefully considered and the government’s response is detailed within the report.
