How does UKVI use the data that you provide?

As a sponsor of UKVI customer applications, we value your views and feedback about your recent experience of using the Premium Sponsor Account Management Service. The results of this survey will help us to improve the service that you and others will receive.

The survey asks questions regarding your experience and views of the service that you received from the Premium Account Management team in UKVI. Your feedback will be analysed alongside other business data to review our Premium Account Management services and drive improvements. The data you provide may allow the Home Office to identify the organisation you represent and, when analysed alongside other data sets allow the identification of the individual providing the data.

However, the data that you provide will not be shared with any third parties outside of the Home Office.

The survey contains some open-ended questions. When providing free text answers, please do not disclose any information that may identify you (for example names, email addresses, reference numbers and so on). Your free text comments may be shared within the Home Office. There is an opportunity at the end of the survey to consent to being contacted for further details of your experience of using the Premium Account Management service. If you wish to take part in this further research, you will be asked to provide your name, email address and phone number at the end of the survey.

Where you have provided your contact data, we will be able to identify your responses and you will be able to:

  • request access to your data
  • withdraw your consent
  • object to, or restrict, the processing of data
  • rectify the data held

The legal basis for processing of data from the surveys is based upon data subjects (participants) providing their consent through participation. Participation in this research is voluntary, and you are free to decide not to take part if you do not want to.

You are also free to provide further consent within the survey, that will allow you to be contacted for future Home Office research. This will be through contact details that you may share with us within the survey. You do not need to share contact details or opt in for future Home Office research to participate in the survey.
