Details

This research looks at adult learners (aged 19 plus) undertaking full level 2, full level 3 and Foundation Learning Tier courses in November 2013. These courses are largely classroom-based with a vocational focus.

The research sought to understand the qualifications learners held before starting the course and their motivations for taking the course. It also examined the demographics, employment status and income of these learners.

The research involved a survey of 4,500 learners and was carried out between June and July 2015.
