Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) are long-term contracts where the private sector designs, builds, finances and operates an infrastructure project.
Private Finance Initiative (PFI) data collection is an annual process where departments provide Her Majesty’s Treasury (HMT) wide a wide range of information about individual PFI contracts. Information includes key dates such as start of the contract, estimated original capital investment and forecast future annual payments.
PFI data is used by a wide range of bodies including the Office of National Statistics and the Office of Budget Responsibility and the National Audit Office and the data is published on GOV.UK.
