The final report from Lord Lingfield’s independent review makes recommendations to government on arrangements for a form of professionalism for teaching staff in the further education sector in England. It will be established through the development of national occupational standards.

The interim report provides recommendations aiming to resolve the tensions between the Institute for Learning (IfL) and the main employer and employee representative bodies in the further education sector.
