Dear Jonathan,

Section 7A NHS public health functions agreement 2021 to 2022

Thank you for your letter dated 8 November 2021 which put on record the arrangements for the ongoing delegated exercise of the Secretary of State’s public health functions in 2021 to 2022 and the delegation of additional public health functions as part of the wider public health reforms.

I appreciate the extensive efforts and collaboration that have gone into this piece of work from both our teams and would like to extend my thanks to you and your team.

On behalf of NHS England, I am happy to confirm our assent to these arrangements – please accept this letter as authorisation.

Yours sincerely

Mark Cubbon
