A public inquiry will be held to consider the application by the Port of London Authority for a harbour revision order.

The Port of London Authority applied for a Harbour Revision Order in 2021. During consultation a number of objections were raised which resulted in revised versions of key application documents, the Amended Port of London Authority Harbour Revision Order (16 January 2024) and the Amended Statement in Support (16 January 2024).

There remain a number of objections that have not been withdrawn and the MMO decided on 19 August 2024 to cause a public inquiry to be held. The Inquiry Chair, Christopher Jacobs was appointed on 11 September 2024 and the Inquiry is now confirmed to begin on 25 February 2025 and will be held at 46 New Broad Street London EC2M 1JH.

All updates and information relating to the inquiry, are published by the Inquiry Programme Officer, Helen Wilson, on her web page, Port of London Authority Harbour Revision Order Inquiry Helen Wilson Consultancy Limited. If anyone wishes to participate in the inquiry they should contact Helen Wilson directly.

Full details of the application and associated documents can also be found on the MMO’s dedicated webpage for the application Port of London Authority Harbour Revision Order - GOV.UK.
