Report commissioned by BIS to undertake an assessment of the impact of publicly funded training on firm-level productivity. It is organised in 2 stages:

  • stage 1 is an in-depth assessment of available data sources, sample composition and matching issues to understand the scope for econometric analysis
  • stage 2 provides the basis for the suggested econometric analysis developed from the stage 1 findings
